Colby Collatt

has made a career out of helping other teams grow and flourish within the world of DFW basketball. Now managing the Texas Fury, this divergent thinker has set up a unique approach to running a successful basketball enterprise.

Most notably, Colby emphasizes the character development of his team members above all else. By focusing his efforts on each individual player, he is promoting their growth both on and off the basketball court. He does this by setting multilevel goals – personal, team, and organizational – for players and staff alike. Even though his expectations are high, they are always obtainable.

Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, Teamwork, Discipline, Sportsmanship, Respect, Leadership, Trust, Commitment – Colby is committed to instilling these virtues into his players. His goal is more than just winning. He’s determined to see each of these young men become an asset to their community and to society as a whole. More than basketball, Colby knows that these values will continue to shape them long after the final whistle blows.
